Mirri’s triumph!
Not to be out done by the Maremmas young Mirri decided to prove that every dog has its day – even little waifs and strays from the ring road! And yesterday was hers. We all went along to a local doggy fun day which included a companion show and for fun I entered Mirri in the Sporting dog class. Bless her she went and won it – and got herself a doggy bag full of treats as well as her rosette and a very nice insulated flask! She really is a very elegant girl. Might add some extra fun to the summer country fairs to take her into some lurcher classes….
Jake says that shows are for girls – he prefers the action stuff! (He wasn’t placed in his class….)
