Florence is a typical Maremma: self confident, loyal and affectionate with her family and friends, but never fawning. She is an independent spirit who sees herself as our equal and friend. She is a great judge of character, protective of us but always willing to make a new friend once she has judged someone worthy to adore her. And once her friend, you will never be forgotten. She has a wicked sense of humour, is stubborn as a mule, has the most infuriating repetoire of yips and barks imaginable - and is a delight!
Florence has had one litter, born on December 17th 1997, 6 males and 3 females, sired by Ch Sonymer Tuscany. A daughter, Chiara (Selladore Sonata) won RCCs at the club show and Crufts when she was shown as a youngster and is herself the mother of a Norwegian Champion.
