Do Maremmas get on well with children?

Like any breed, it rather depends on the individual and the children! But assuming the children know how to treat a dog, Maremmas are usually excellent with children. Bitches in particularly can be quite maternal with youngsters, even when they haven't grown up with them. Of course no dog of any breed should be left unattended with a young child.
