Isobel has been training at the Tailwagger Club for around five years, and is a member of the APDT. Her particular interests include pet dog training, canine body language and communication, nosework (e.g. search and find), and anything dog-related. She is also interested in parrots and other animals generally, and creative writing.

Rachel is a member of the APDT. She manages the Tailwagger Club Dog Display Team.
Janet has had dogs all her life and has been involved in dog training since 1992. She is a TTouch Companion Animal Practitioner Level 2 and a member of the APDT. As well as teaching pet dog classes she runs regular workshops on TTouch and is available for TTouch one-to-one sessions. She is developing ringcraft workshops for the club.
She is particularly interested in canine behaviour and working with reactive dogs. She works with her own dogs up to Post-Gold, has done agility for fun and shows regularly in breed, where she has made up a champion. She has taught ringcraft and also judges at Companion and Open shows.
Janet has two dogs at home: Jake, a Smooth Collie and Mirri, a lurcher, as well as two Maremma Sheepdogs (Orsa and Fresca) in partnership.

Colette has been involved with dogs (mainly German Shepherds) her whole life and has always had a love of animals - she currently has six pets in total. Her dog training ability was ultimately put to the test 5 years ago with the arrival of her first small dog - a hyper, yappy, stubborn Bichon Frise named Mia.
Colette has never accepted the limitations that some Toy Dog breeders promote: their unsuitability for dog sports, limited training capacity, “not well suited for country rambles” etc. She began participating in a wide array of dog events: KC Good Citizen Dog Scheme, obedience, flyball, heelwork to music & agility. She regularly hikes long distances with her pint size companions and has recently started accompanying her teenage daughter in Cani-Cross (cross country running with dogs).
Colette has successfully completed the Tailwagger Trainer Development Programme and is a member of the APDT. She has attended various workshops & seminars.
The photo below is of Colette & Mia at Crufts 2008; after qualifying at an international agility festival, the pair had the opportunity to compete at Crufts and after a successful run came away with a second in their category

Cathy has been involved with dog training for just over 5 years, having covered competition obedience, working trials, and agility. She has also taken part in a couple of night tracks. She is very interested in clicker training and uses it a lot with her dogs. She is also interested in gundog training. She has attended a wide variety of workshops and seminars including clicker, aggression, working trials, behaviour and complementary therapies.
Although she has not competed yet, she hopes to show Pippa, her young Weimaraner, and do some gundog/field trials. Cathy has successfully completed the Tailwagger Trainer Development Programme to achieve trainer status and is a member of the Display Team Committee. Her other interests include crosswords, reading, psychology, walking and, of course, training the hounds!
